BDO submits comment letter on ED - Proposed Amendments to the IFRS Foundation Due Process Handbook
BDO has submitted its comment letter to the IFRS Foundation on Exposure Draft Due Process Handbook.
BDO has supported the objective of the Due Process Oversight Committee (DPOC) to improve the due process steps undertaken by both the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
However, BDO has expressed a number of concerns with the proposed amendments, including:

However, BDO has expressed a number of concerns with the proposed amendments, including:
- The lack of sufficient due process steps relating to the SASB Standards;
- The basis for the first phase of post-implementation reviews and their start date;
- The lack of clarity surrounding how amendments to and the withdrawal of IFRS Interpretation Committee agenda decisions are to be carried out; and
- Several other concerns relating to targeted improvements.
