Revised LSME Workshop announcement for users and investors
Revised LSME Workshop announcement for users and investors
The European Sustainability Reporting Standards for Listed Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ESRS LSME) Exposure Draft (ED) has successfully moved from the public consultation phase and field test to the deliberation stage, where it is now being reviewed and evaluated by the Single Resolution Board (SRB) and Sustainability Reporting Technical Expert Group (SR TEG) to determine the next steps and final approval of the standard for SMEs which are public-interest entities. The standard is expected to be applicable from 2026 with an additional 2-year opt out and will be issued as a delegated act.
With a view to avoid any undue loss of information for users and investors. EFRAG Secretariat invites investors and potential users of LSME sustainability statements to an online workshop to discuss the revised LSME and whether it still meets the needs of investors, which is a key objective of this standard in the provision of the CSRD.
The workshop is scheduled to take place online in the first half of September 2024.
More details as well as link to express interest in the workshop are available in the press release.
