Elysia Rothwell

With over fourteen years’ experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom, Elysia is an experienced Audit Partner with BDO in Sydney. She is organised, relationship focussed and possesses strong management skills. She is highly suited to any audit engagement.

Her clients have ranged from small private entities to large, listed companies operating internationally. Although her clients are spread across a variety of industries, her passion lies in the Real Estate and Construction industry and she has significant knowledge and expertise focused in this area.

Elysia is a member of the BDO Real Estate and Construction Group and recently authored the 2020 BDO Construction Survey.

With considerable experience in audit, assurance and advisory services, Elysia supports clients in meeting their reporting obligations while providing additional value to the audit process.

She is responsible for the planning, control and co-ordination of audit and assurance engagements, including staffing, continual review of audit work and the identification of audit issues. She also acts as the key contact point between BDO and her clients and ensures the audit is performed efficiently and in a timely manner.
