Paul Ayres

Paul is the Global Leader of BDO’s Global Private Client Services Centre of Excellence. The Centre of Excellence supports and helps clients wherever in the world they do business, leveraging the in—depth knowledge, experience, and insights of our international and trusted private client advisers.

He has a varied client base comprising entrepreneurs, entertainers and both UK and international families. Paul’s areas of tax expertise reflect that client base and he advises them on all aspects of their personal tax affairs including overseeing their tax filings both in the UK and abroad, advising them on estate planning matters, and generally ensuring they optimise their tax position. Paul takes a collaborative approach to working with his clients’ other advisers, whilst always recognising that ultimately he is advising the client on what is best for them.

Recognised by Spears Magazine as one of the Top Ten Tax Accountants in the wealth management industry, Paul is a partner within BDO’s London Tax Group and advises in respect of all private client tax matters.
